Coast Guard Exchange Scholarship Program

14 Awards-$1500 for 4 years/$1500 for 2 years

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be a member of FCU in good standing

B) Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher

4 Awards-$1,000.00

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must:

A) Submit proof of hearing loss such as physician verification or IEP for a high school senior

B) Must be a Michigan resident for at least 1 year with a GPA of 2.6 or higher

C) Submit an application (Essay, video or PowerPoint), 1 letter of recommendation and a photo with release form

Deadline to apply is March 15, 2025

1 Award-$500

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute

B) Be currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community

1 Award-$2,000 Renewable for an additional 3 years.

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be a student that is physically challenged, currently eligible for special education services under Federal guidelines, or as may be approved by the Gold Key Commissioners

B) Show financial need

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be a high school junior or senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student

B) Be currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university, vocational/technical, two-year, four-year, or graduate institution
